It is hot and tropical, like our Mango Chilli Sauce with Smoked Jalapeños.” Ingredients : 2 teaspoons (10 mL) vegetable oil 2 pounds (1.1 kg) lean pork or beef, cubed 1 onion, peeled and diced 1 teaspoon (5 mL) salt 1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed 1 (8.5-ounce [238 g]) bottle Byron Bay Chilli Co. Smokin’ Mango Chilli Sauce with Chipotles (or substitute your favorite mango-based medium hot sauce) Method : Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meat and cook until it is browned on all sides. Add the onion and cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients, cover, and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Check the pot occasionally. If the sauce gets too thick, add water as needed. Serve this dish over cooked rice or use it as a filling for warm tortillas.
